Pittsburg Free Clinic
Dedicated Volunteers at RotaCare Pittsburg!

Lydia Ramos has been volunteering with RotaCare Pittsburg as an Interpreter since the very first day the clinic opened on February 9, 2011. Every time she attends clinic, she provides interpretation services for our Spanish-speaking patients both at the front desk and for the medical staff alike. Her dedication is unwavering, and her commitment to the East Contra Costa County community is continuously demonstrated by her attendance at every Wednesday night clinic throughout the year.

When new volunteer Interpreters are orientating on their first clinic night, Lydia always makes sure they feel welcome and knowledgeable about our clinic scope of services and cultural nuances amongst our patients. We love having her as part of the foundation of our volunteer base here at RotaCare Pittsburg, and we are honored to have her with us. It is volunteers like Lydia that create a safety net for the uninsured in our community.
