RotaCare Coastside Clinic Teaming Up!

RotaCare Coastside Clinic has recently teamed up with PUENTE and other Half Moon Bay community organizations to volunteer at the PUENTE Health Fair on October 8th. PUENTE is a community resource center that provides resources and services to our rural community. Our registered nurses, Norine Yee and Brigid Voss, informed the community about the importance of health and wellness. They focused on educating the community on the most prevalent diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. The lesson included a demo on how to regulate blood pressure and encouraged the community to participate in our new American Heart Association Blood Pressure Program.  Our wonderful program allows patients to keep a blood pressure monitor free of charge after meeting a few requirements.
RotaCare Coastside Clinic not only supports the patients we serve, but also other organizations and programs who also believe in bettering our community.
